The Nimitz Band High School Shirt features a distinct graphic, originally created for the Nimitz High School band. This black tee displays 'THE TRIAL' on the chest, alongside an image of a figure at a stake with flames behind it. The design was produced to align with a UIL Crucible show.
Aldine ISD halted distribution of these shirts on September 18, 2026. Officials stated the Salem theme was approved for competition, printed by an outside vendor. Yet, parents, students, and activists interpreted the imagery as suggesting lynching, not Arthur Miller. Following public calls from Quanell X and Dr. Candice Matthews, the district requested shirt returns and announced a review of band merchandise approval protocols.
This tee reflects a specific event in Houston, recognized for generating news. It offers the authentic 'The Trial' graphic associated with Nimitz. Printed on demand, each shirt features soft cotton and a unisex fit, available in sizes S-4XL.
“Exactly like the photo — the print is crisp and the fabric is genuinely soft.”
